Albeit, not an exciting one. Since it's the beginning of the year there's no doubt that I'm trying to eat healthier, much like probably 75% of everyone else out there! However, with that being said, I'm not going to try to jump straight on to only eating healthy foods because I know that by adopting that kind of diet I'll set myself up for failure. Instead, I'll make sure most of my meals are of a healthier fare and concentrate more on working out and leading a more active life in general this year.
S: Burgers on WG buns, Roasted Potatoes
M: Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan, WW Pasta and Green Beans
T: Grilled Cheese and Soup (WW Bread, 2% cheese)
W: Fresh Salad with Grilled Chicken and Slivered Almonds
R: Sloppy Joes (with a turkey/90% lean beef mix - can't switch too much on DH) and Green Beans
F: Chili (with same turkey/90% lean beef mix)
S: Baked Lemon Thyme Chicken, roasted veggies
As far as workouts go, I'm trying to get in to a routine where 3-4 days a week I use the treadmill and work on my abs and 3 days a week I'll do a workout from my husband's P90X DVDs. I can't commit to doing those dang videos 6-7 days a week so I'll just pick and chose what I want to do based on what I need to work on, how much time I have, etc.
